On the first day there, it was pouring rain with extremely strong winds. After checking into the hotel, it was already the afternoon. So we went to Disney Downtown and checked out their stores. Since it was raining so hard, we bought 2 umbrellas. That was our first purchase. We checked out the stores at Disney Downtown in the afternoon and the malls around the areas later on in the evening. Afterwards, we went to go pick up our City passes from Disneyland. The city pass provides us with 1 Seaworld, 1 San Diego Zoo and 1 Universal Studios and 3 Disneyland tickets.
So we headed off to Disneyland the second day we were there. The day before, I saw this girl with a Minnie Mouse Santa hat, when I asked her where she got it, she said that she got it inside the park. I couldn't wait and the first thing we did when we got inside the park was go into one of the stores on Main Street to buy Santa hats. I ended up buying one for myself and a Mickey one for Hanson. Jeffrey got a Goofy Santa hat since he already has a Mickey one and Mommy also got a Minnie Mouse Santa hat. Afterwards, We went to play on the typical rides. Thank god it was all sunny that day. It got colder in the evening, but still bearable -- unlike Vancouver. Disneyland was honestly the happiest place on earth.
That night (or I guess you'd consider it the next morning), I woke up at 4:30am and threw up in the washroom -- twice! I didn't get much sleep after that and was so tired the next morning. Before we even went out the door, I had to go the bathroom twice (details not included). We headed off to California Adventure that day. At the park, I couldn't stop gagging. I felt my stomach just twisting and turning inside of me non-stop. We went on the Toy Story ride, and afterwards I had to go to the bathroom again and I started gagging. My mom came with me and a lady inside the bathroom asked my mom, "what ride did she just go on?" -- I thought that was quite funny when she told me afterwards. I couldn't last anymore and had to go back to the hotel room to rest. The walk back to the hotel was supposed to be around 15 minutes, but it felt more like it was 45 minutes. I spent the rest of the day in the hotel room - what a waste!
... To be continued!
