Being a TA is No Easy Job

Especially when you're trying to help a student and the student argues with you and states that they don't agree with your answer.

I was trying to help this student the other day and he kept on arguing with me, "I think I understand what you're saying but I don't agree with it." Well, I'm sorry, but I didn't make up the f*cking rules!

We were given the answers and I try my best to explain it as much as possible. Don't argue with me if you don't agree with what I say - I'm just stating what is in the answer key because I don't want to give you the wrong instructions on approaching this problem. So really, it's not me that you're disagreeing with - it's the prof.

It's called "Chinese Food" - Get With the Program!

During the school year some time ago (actually it was just last school year), I decided to have lunch at the Computer Science Student Society while watching people play the XBOX (yes, this is how bored I am sometimes). I opened up my lunch and just started eating when this ugly hairy dude came up to me and was like, "your food smells."

I was like.... WTF, man. Have you no manners??? I could have easily returned an "oh yeah? Well you look really ugly; you pollute my eyes." " I'm sorry, does my food sting your eyes? Because my eyes hurt from just looking at you!"... but I didn't... because *I have manners*. So instead, I blog about it.

Seriously, man. Since when did the Cube become such a hostile place. A girl can't even have her lunch peacefully without someone telling her that her food stinks.

The Best Marriage Proposal Ever

On June 6, 2009, something magical happened on Main Street of Disneyland. John proposed Erika in a style that can only be found in Disney fairy tales! With the help of Disneyland staff, John sang and danced with a pure Disney aroma. It's definitely a dream proposal for all of the girl (myself included, of course...). Maybe I should propose to Hanson this way... HAHAHA!

Too Excited About Google Chrome OS

Today, I logged into Facebook this morning and saw that my friend Alex, had wrote a message about how Google is going to release a Google Chrome OS.

I got so excited about it, I messaged my friend Kimberley over MSN:

Juli: Look! Google's coming up with an operating system!
Kimberley: Yeah, I heard.
Juli: When is it available?? [obviously I haven't read the whole article]
Kimberley: I think they said mid 2010...
Juli: That's like... NOW??? Hullo...???
Kimberley: Haha it's 2009 right now... not 2010...
Juli: Oh... crap...
