Heart-Winning Crepes

It's the holiday that many hate but love to talk about. Love is full of contradictions and the hype surrounding the calendar date set aside for it is no exception.

Depending on what you'd like to use the crepes for (breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert - we're all adults here, these things happen at all times of the day), be classy and prepare some toppings that you can roll them up with. Bananas with sugar and cinnamon. Peaches and ice cream. Spinach and feta. Sauteed mushrooms and bell peppers. regardless, it will be charming, attractive, unique - everything you want to be, in edible form.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1.5 cups of milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • Pinch of salt
  • Water
  • String love, moderate "like" or vapid hope (optional)

Get out two separate bowls, mixing the dry in one and the wet in the other. Slowly incorporate the dry with the wet. Whisk carefully, adding touches of water until it pours out like a thin cream. Melt a little butter on a non-stick pan over medium heat, thinly coat the pan with batter, and cook gently for 1 or 2 minutes. Don't flip! Serve immediately, sprinkled with lemon juice and sugar, or with your toppings rolled inside. The rest is up to you!

Gong Hay Fat Choy 2008!

Happy Chinese New Year!

I guess Chinese people don't really have a count down to their own New Year's. Maybe that's because lots of Chinese people are like Hanson and they sleep at 10:00 and never see the clock strike 12:00. But anyway! Happy Year of the Rat!

I wore red underwear today - Hahaha! It says Monday/Lundi on it... Confused (TOO MUCH INFO)!!
