STAT 200 (Eugenia Yu): You know, everyone told me that this course was so easy for them, they didn't even have to study. So... I decided to take it over the summer while I was working in co-op. Oh-my-gosh. It was not easy at all! At least not for me. I swear, I'd never take another math class during the summer while I'm working, ever again. I didn't have enough time to study or do the practice questions when I got back home. It was late and I was tired when I got home. The labs were so useless, I didn't like them, but unfortunately, lab participation counts as part of the marks. The portable where the labs were held were all hot and stuffy during the summer- it smelled too sometimes. Overall, this course was a lot harder than I thought. And unfortunately, I will have to take further STAT course (STAT 302) because I took STAT 200 instead of STAT 241 (for those who don't know, it just happens to be one of the requirements for computer science).
