That is if you can call it fame...
Yesterday, I went with Hanson to Metrotown to walk around. He had to go to take a dump really badly as soon as we went inside the mall, so I wandered in the other direction while waiting for him. As soon as we entered the mall, I saw a small crowd of people lining up to get autographs from this one person. Apparently, he was from this Disney TV show called "Wizards of Waverly Place". I have never heard of this TV show before yesterday. As the small crowd of people were snowballing, I thought to myself, well he must be *somewhat* famous if there's so many people who wants his autograph, so I decided to line up too! No harm in getting it, I thought to myself. It might be worth something one day if he does become famous!
It appears that this was part of an advertising thing for some acting school. While I lined up, this lady came up to me and asked me for my name, age, and phone number. I told her that I wasn't interested in acting school and asked whether it was possible for me to just get the autograph, and she said no. So I was like, what the hell... I gave her my name, age, and a fake phone number (sorry to the person/family if they ever call you asking for me). I scanned down the list, and saw that I was the OLDEST person there! Ages 12, 15, 17... and then there was me: 22.
At first, I felt kind of pedophile-ish because he looked so young. Hanson predicts that he's probably like 15 -18. It's a good thing that he had his name on the picture, because otherwise I wouldn't even be able to look him up on IMDB. Turns out that he's 22, a couple months younger than me, but at least I don't feel so bad anymore.
So did I learn anything new about him after all of this? I guess so. I got home and watched an episode of that wizard show, (which I must say, isn't as bad as some other Disney TV shows I've seen in the past). And well, sadly, he's not even in the credits... He's like the Gunther of Friends. But I think he's getting there! Yesterday when I checked, his Facebook group had 60 fans, today he had 67! Just for the record, I didn't join.
I had no idea who he is... but I figured that if there's so many people lining up to get his autograph, he must be *somewhat* famous...?
The autographed picture that I can't sell because
1) It has my name on it
2) He's not famous enough for this to worth anything
