Watch out!!

My mom almost killed me yesterday. As most of you know, I have a foldable bike that I store underneath my mom's desk because I need to ride it around campus to get to my classes. Well when I rode my bike to Dempster yesterday, it took me especially more effort to get it up the hill and when peddling, I hear this clinking noise like something was about to snap. At the halfway point, I decided to just get off my bike and see what was going on. I see no loose screws or anything, so I was like, "Oh whatever, I'll fix it when I get back to the office."

So after my first class, I had to ride my bike down hill to Buchanan for English. As I was going downhill, I realized that my brakes weren't working! I was like "Oh, crap!! Move out of the way!!" There were these cars and big trucks going right beside me. Luckily, the slope decreased near the end and eventually the work of gravity and friction helped stop me. I had to write an in-class rhetorical essay for English, and there was no time to lose.

So after English class, I walked my bike back to the office, because I was so scared of riding it. I told my mom about it and then she realized that the cables connected to the bike were all twisted. It happened to be that because the cables where wrapped around too tight when we adjust the handles each morning they got all tangled up and resulted to not being able to press down brakes. I can't believe I amost died because of a careless mistake.

Yeah...uhh...clinking noises kinda tell me to stop riding a bike immediately. :D

My bike's having some tire problems. That's why you've been seeing me around without my baby. :(

Yes yes, must have been frightening, but i dont wanna sound like everyone else, saying oh sorry about that, must have been scary, .. not me, that would have been exhilarating.

Good thing school's ending soon!!!! >_< I just ask you to careful for four more days..hahahahaha you won't be needing your bike for summer school~~ Alex and I will be walking with you every night...unless you decide to ditch us and bike from and back to Ladner...I suppose I'll be okay with that too, but hahahaha doubt that you'll do that~~

1) I usually ride down East Mall, so it's reasonable that I would go the same way everyday.
2) Because my bike was the last one they had at the shop (the display one) it was already built for us and there was no manual for it. And if you don't remember I bought it from Japan, so even if there was a manual, we wouldn't be able to read it.

o.O 1) hill? Just ride on Main Mall.
2) Didn't it come with an OWNER'S MANUAL? Technically, it's not your mom's fault since YOU, even if you're not the righful owner(which is probably your parents since they bought it), are the only rider of the bike so it should be your responsibility to read the manual.
