I'm in Japan!!

It's like a sauna here. It's not the sun that's making this place hot here I don't think, because I'm always outside and I haven't gotten any sun burn. It's just stuffy here. The heat plus all the walking isn't pretty. Every night, it feels like my ankles broke off.

Well anyway, I got what I wanted to get from the last few times I went to Japan. I got myself a Kimono! Not just that, I also bought myself a bike. That's right, a bicycle. It's one of those that are foldable. Quite cool I must say. However, it's difficult too carry. We bought the bicyce from Osaka and we had to carry it on the trains and subways back to Tokyo. You can imagine how difficult that would be considering we have to get on and off when transferring.

I was hoping to get the "Love Hina: Art Collection" book in Japan because it'd cost like $50 in Canada. Sadly, the book was published in 2001 and all the book stores that I've been to says that it's sold out. Anyway, I'm not surprised, just a little disappointed.

We didn't go to Japan alone this time, which was pretty new for us. We went with my grand-aunt and grand-uncle. No offense or anything, but they really piss me off sometimes. They keep complaining that everything is expensive. It's Japan, what do you expect?? Not only that, it seemed as if we had to do everything that they wanted to do (ex. they insist of looking for the place to eat the famous steak at Kobe, which we didn't end up doing because we couldn't find the place). On the other hand, they sort of refuse to do anything that we want to do (ex. Shop for cutesy stuff). Speaking of the steak place, if it wasn't for daddy spazzing out, we wouldn't know HOW much longer we'd had to look. That's the kind of people they are - selfish. They're pretty useless and just another baggage that we have to worry about. They see that the four of us (my mom, dad, brother and me) carrying a lot of bags and just loose belongings, and they would just walk off with their own luggage (that's right, singular) and then walk off holding hands. No wonder my mom doesn't like travelling with other people.
