First Nail Art Attempt

I was first introduced to nail stamping at the PNE Marketplace this last summer. Their kit was so expensive, I decided not to buy it. Instead, I bought it from a funky lady in LA over the internet! A couple Sundays ago, I decided to do my nails instead of my homework, (which explains why my marks are going down hill). Anyway, check this out! Using CHEAP nail polish I bought from Daiso and the dollar store, I decorated my nails!

The bottom layer is supposed to be a light purple nail polish I got from Daiso, but under bright light, it turns out to be pink. It only appears purple when you think that it's purple... and you have to think really hard.... Then the flowers were stamped on using the Konad stencils also with Daiso nail polish. The nail polish was supposed to be red, but it turned out hot pink. Again, it only turns red when you think it's red. And then a little dab of silver glitter nail polish that I got from the dollar store on the center of the flower. I'm not a big fan of rhinestones since they can get somewhat expensive AND they fall off easily.

It's not completely perfect, but it's pretty good for a first attempt. In fact, I kept smudging it because I was doing other stuff at the same time. I want to do more nails, but I only have two hands. I need to recruit some volunteers to let me experiment on their finger nails!
