Today is a very sad day for me.
I wake up every morning to the energetic voices of two radio hosts called Nat and Drew but it has changed today. Z95.3 has been announced that they have been bought out by Astral Media THIS MORNING. Most of the hosts and staff were dismissed on Friday afternoon saying that their service is no longer needed at the station.
I loved listening to this radio station since I was in grade 3… I used to listen to the radio station because of its music, but then I stopped for a while since the genre of music they started playing was not exactly my style anymore. Since I started taking the bus and working (January 2007), I’ve been listening to the radio station more for their host than the music itself.
I’m gonna miss them and I decided to share my grief with those who still remember Z95.3 from their younger days. Gonna miss their Battle of the Sexes, Missed Connections, How-To Tuesdays, and most of all, their Zpointz Program that didn’t start out too long ago…
