Anyway, I left my cell phone at home today. I planned this trip to UBC and asked David to come along since we all have to get our UBC Student ID anyway. David was suppose to arrive at like 12:40 or something like that, but he was late. I started to get worried that he might have been lost or kidnapped. We had a good laugh at that later, but I was honestly freaked out at the moment.
After getting our UBC Cards, we decided to visit the Chan Centre. It's this place where preformances are held. Lynn read somewhere that they had the nicest bathrooms on campus, so we went to check them out. The girl's bathroom was REALLY nice; it reminded us of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. I actually managed to find a picture of it in on their site (www.chancentre.com). The boy's bathroom was nothing special. If you're wondering, yes, Lynn and I went to check out the boy's bathroom after knowing that there was no one inside it! (What..? Alex goes into the girl's bathroom all the time.)
So we went back to the bookstore because I forgot my pop there after taking our pictures for the ID. Afterwards, we just sat down in front of the bookstore. My eye was getting itchy from my first day of wearing my contacts, so I kept on rubbing it with my bottle. Anyway, soon the contacts began to scrunch up in my eye. It was gross. Lynn had to hold my hand to get to the Hebb Building (because we knew there were washrooms there) and I hit a wall because I didn't know where the door was when we got inside. Good times, good times. Anyway, that was already near the end of our day. So yeah, I hope everyone had as much fun as we did.
