So the dream was like this:
I was at this beautiful house that had a white porch and a giant green backyard where there was a huge gazebo. Unfortunately, it was raining and my guests had to sit outside with umbrellas. The guests were already seated, waiting for the ceremony to start. I was scrambling around trying to gather myself. My hair was undone, I couldn't find my shoes, the tags on my dress were still attached (for those who know me, I don't usually cut off my tags until the last minute). Finally I was able to find my shoes but they were like a size too big and my feet keep on slipping out of them. And I was able to, again, "remember" that they fitted when I tried them on before. Also, I was able to find a pair of scissors to cut off the tags from my dress. And then I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep. It was more like I was too scared to go back to sleep. Those were the exact words he used for his answering machine. I remember them because I just kept on replaying it in my head when I woke up. The dream was just so real, Hanson was even using big words like, "depleted," that were not in my vocabulary (I had to look up that word when I woke up). Some parts were a little out of the blue, but it doesn't mean that it cannot happen. For example, he has also never called me "Tinkerbell" before, but I think he's in the process of coming up with nicknames for me. Also, who the heck updates their answering machine message like their twitter status by letting people know where they are all the time?
As my flowergirl and bridesmaid walked down the aisle, I was trying to find my bouquet of flowers. I finally found it and it turned out that it wasn't even complete. My bouquet of flowers was literally a styrofoam stick with a couple of leafs stuck on it. So I was like, "screw it! I'm late!" and grabbed my pair of scissors and walked down the aisle with that. At this point, my hair was still undone, but I was like, "It's OK, my hair is kind of short anyway."
I was practically running down the aisle and had to constantly stop and tell myself to slow down. When I got up to the alter/gazebo, I suddenly thought to myself "this is weird... something's missing here" then I remembered, "oh yeah.. my dad was supposed to walk me down the aisle". I turned around and saw him trying to chase after me because I was walking so fast and so eager to get married.
My dad caught me when I was already at the alter and held my hand and Hanson's hand. Hanson, for some reason was sitting in a chair beside the priest while everyone else was standing. Beside him was this Coca-cola candy tree and a mini bowling ball display (this is where the choppy/random part was). I was like, "what are you doing?" He started slurring his words, and going all red. At that time, I realized he was drunk. I was just too embarrassed to go on, and so I just turned around and went back into the house that I came from, locked the door and didn't come back out.
I don't know what happened to the ceremony after that, but the next morning, I was watching TV and they were displaying and explaining the Coca-cola candy tree and mini bowling ball display on the shopping channel. In the afternoon, I decided to give Hanson a call and ask for an explanation for what had happened the day before. How could he do that to me? He even told me he loved me the day before over MSN like he does every night. I got his machine, like many other times I've called him before. His answering machine went something like this: "Hello... I am currently at the Nation's Plaza right now and cannot take your call... Not to say that nothing happened yesterday, but a lot of things happened that was unexpected... Juli and I are having hot, sizzlin' sex right now... no, actually... we're not. All I can say is that Tinkerbell has depleted her love for me."
Anyway, I'm glad I got that out of my system and I hope that this will never happen.
Woah. New layout! Looks good :)
ReplyDeleteAnd you remember some crazy details from your dreams...
Agreed about the details. That's a pretty weird dream - do you think that your subconscious is trying to tell you something?
