Wow, it's been more than a month since my last post. May is almost over and I thought maybe I should put something on this month before it becomes a blank archive on the side bar.
I didn't bother writing a Miss or Diss this semester since 2 of the 4 professors I had repeated. I also had one of my exams deferred (for personal reasons that I do not want to discuss on here), and I didn't write it until last week. So it would be a bit too early to "Miss or Diss" the prof. Besides, he's moving onto working in an actual company instead of continuing to teach at UBC.
Speaking of last week, I went on a cruise (Island Princess) with my family and my parent's high school friends and their families. Most of their kids were boys, and they were my brother's age, so they got along pretty well. Unfortunate for me though, I was alone for the most part and stuck around my parents while they shopped on the cruise. On the last night there, we had a comedian hypnotist as one of the shows. My brother and I and a couple of the other guys went up on stage to be volunteers as hypnosis subjects. However, I got sent off the stage because I couldn't be hypnotized. Jeffrey and another boy named Calvin stayed up on stage the whole time though. Apparently, they were acting throughout the whole thing.
Oh well, that's ok I guess. It was an entertaining show, and Jeffrey was very funny. I'm just glad that out of the party of 40 people, at least 2 of them made it up on stage and stayed throughout the whole show. I had a lot of fun...
