Work on New Year's Eve?!

It seems like my blog entries are quite long compared to other people's. Anyway, I have to work tomorrow (New Year's Eve) *tear*. I want to quit so bad, but the money is quite good. The job is easy and stuff, but I do the same thing over and over again and I'm just so isolated at the back of the store. The worse thing is that after working at Sport Chek, I think I've developed some back problems. It's probably from carrying the heavy boxes around. I only work for 4 hours tomorrow, so that's good heehee!

My Granny (dad's side of the family) is having a Hot Pot thing tomorrow. There's so many people in my dad's side of the family, the first question that popped into my mind was, "Does she have a big enough pot?" It's gonna be fun though.

Reminder to self: Bring DDR Games to Granny's. They have the mats as well and hard wood floors (and I helped build the floor I feel so PROUD)!

Elementary School Reunion (Class of 2000)

Today was probably one of the best days ever! Even though I woke up with a soar throat and everything. Anna called me at around 9:00 this morning and woke me up. I was told a couple days ago that Jenna was coming to town and it was just such short notice when I found out that we were going to meet up today! So i left my house at 10:30 and got around Anna's house at like 11:00 (I had a hard time finding her house again).

Jenna had changed so much. If I were to bump into her at like a mall or something, I wouldn't have been able to recognize her at all. I missed her so much. She moved to Calgary when we were all in grade 5/6 I couldn't really remember. We got to reminiscing and talked about what we use to do, what we did after she left, and what we do now. In fact, all four of us (Erica, Anna, Jenna and I) all go to different high schools. We talked about the girls who use to be in the "popular" group and now how they've all changed. Some are still really nice while others are still really snobby. We wont name names now (maybe later).

Sadly, Erica couldn't be there. She takes a trip down to Mexico every chance she gets because most of her family members live there. So she didn't get to hang out with us. We walked to this coffee shop called "Petra's" from Anna's house, which is actually pretty far considering that I haven't done much exercise lately (hee hee).

Later, we met up with a girl named Brittney (she was a few years younger, the same age as my brother). She's really nice and stuff but we didn't hang out with her. So Jenna left with Brittney. I was hoping to see Jenna more since she lived the furthest away.

Anna actually has two somewhat "random" guys staying at her house right now. Both of them are from London, England (I think). One of them is named Dom and the other one is named Mo. Dom is actually working at Anna's school for a GAP program (not the retail store, but something like a volunteer thing for work experience) and Mo is just here to visit his best friend. They crack me up, but I had a feeling that they didn't like me very much. Oh well. They spoke with an accent! It's so cool! I love it, but it's difficult to understand it. I had some problems keeping up with the conversations, so I just stop paying attention at times.

Anna and I went downtown to meet up with the guys after Jenna ditched us. I had the funnest day! It was better than the trip to Vegas! We didn't do a lot of shopping, but there was a LOT of bussing. I don't think I've ever taken a bus for so long in an entire day before! Not BC Transit at least.

Anna said that maybe after we graduate from high school and stuff, all of us (Erica, Anna and me) can take a greyhound down to Calgary and stay with Jenna for a week or something. I really want to go, but my mom said that she'll think about it. I'm pretty sure she's gonna be ok with it. After all, I would be 18 by then.

Anyway, I guess that's my entry for today. It's the best day, honestly! I just had so much fun. Thank you to Jenna, Anna, Dom and Mo. ^_^ I love you guys!

Boxing Day

So I come back from Vegas on the 24th. Signed onto MSNMessenger as usual and noticed that my ex-bf has re-added me onto his contact list. I'm not sure if that was such a good idea.

Las Vegas was ok. It was just very humid there. My eyes were so dry that it stung everytime I blink. So many people smoking inside the casinos and that made it difficult to breathe. People in the streets handing out things like baseball cards but with naked chicks on it instead. They hand it to everyone; they even hand it to me! I was walking wtih my brother and I was like, "What the hell? Do I look like a guy to them?" Anyway, so embarassing.

Shopped for my Christmas presents when I was down in Vegas. Bought a load of Kenshin. 1.5 books from a Chapters' gift certificate from Jaimee (paid for the other half myself, heehee), and then got 2 for free in seattle since they forgot to charge me for it, and bought 3 from the same store in seattle for the coming back trip, and then got 2 books from the store in Las Vegas. Pretty Cool.

I come back to Ladner and it smelt like garbage. What the hell is wrong with my hometown??? Anyway, I found out from Anna that Jenna, an elementary school friend of mine that moved to Calgary in grade 5 has come back for a visit. Erica, is out of the country with her family. Probably enjoying the nice sun in Mexico so they she wont get to meet up with us. Hoping to hang out with them if when I get the chance. The amigos are back in town!

Boxing Day, didn't go shopping for clothes, but there was some groceries. My brother bought ANOTHER Gundam Mobile Suit or whatever they're called. I bought... Nothing. Anyway, enjoy your holiday everyone!

Wish List: Cosmetics

Note: These are not exactly the brand names or exact items that I want/need. It's just list the "stuff" that I would like. For example, you can get me a cheap eyelash curler from the dollar store (as long as it works well). It does not have to be that specific brand.
